Eames Success Poster

July 2009, Rhode Island School of Design
The objective of the assignment was to research an architect and to illustrate that person through a 30″ by 40″ composition. As Charles Eames made major contributions in many fields of design including industrial design, furniture design, art, graphic design, film and architecture, he captured the essence of the human creativity I sought to depict. Further to Charles’ credit, he and his wife Ray pioneered innovative technologies, such as the fiberglass, plastic resin and wire mesh chairs designed for Herman Miller. In my composition, I illustrated his greatest works, along with Eames House in the background.

Intended size:
30 inches by 40 inches
